Have you ever had one of those weeks where you literally just feel like throwing your boss against the wall? Or throwing various stationery items at your colleagues? Well now you can – virtually of course – with these office politics games and many others on Mortgage Calculator’s Money Games.
Get revenge on your boss
With Angry Boss, you can shoot pencils and other at your boss, while watching his health decline. And, every so often, if you feel like, you can throw him around the room like a rag doll. In fact, as you go along, you can also shoot pins, spears and various other items at him. As he loses his power, money falls out of him and his eyes go cross eyed.
Overthrow your colleagues
Fancy hurling a lot of paper balls at your workmates? Then Office Fight is for you. You can also throw pencils, rubbers, rulers, books and even monitors as your score increases. When the boss pops up, he is harder to get rid of – you have to click on him twice in each spot he pops up in until you defeat him. What I found funny is that the people that start appearing after him do so at the back at first, almost as if in they are in fear of the boss!
Something I really enjoyed was catching the mouse that also pops up from time to time – and it’s a bit tricky to get hold of him.
Conquer those work hurdles
Do you feel like you constantly have to surmount all sorts of obstacles to do your job? Then maybe you can let off steam by doing Office Hurdles. You’d better click fast because if you miss those yellow “wet floor” notifications, it’s game over for you.
Perhaps you feel like your boss is in some awkward positions and you can be the hero to rescue him? In “Rescue Boss Cut Rope” there’s a bit of skill involved to cut the rope at the right time so that he doesn’t get hurt by various hazards.
More games
There are absolutely loads of fun games on this site which I know the kids will enjoy too. You can be a cashier, a farmer, own different restaurants, build a bridge, bomb a bridge and many more things to keep you busy and entertained.
Nicky tried out a whole host of them. We started with Merge Blocks (him being of that kind of mathematical, spatial mind) and he got really good at it and played it for almost an hour before he told me he was tired of thinking and he needed something more relaxing. So he started building a bridge and then he did a supermarket game too.
Environmental games
Some games I particularly liked which will also work for some of my ESL students are the environmental games. In Wind and Solar you have to keep moving the solar panels and wind turbine around to generate the most energy. In Sort the Trash you must only catch recyclables with your bin.
Have a look at these Money Games and tell me – which one was your favourite?
