I once had a whole lot of blog posts on this topic, ready to help me if I needed an image for something. The problem with many of these sites is that you often had to sign up for them and login each time and it was just time consuming.
So where can we find some images we can easily access when we need them?
I once had a job writing stories for which I needed a lot of images for Talk915. These were the three sites I was recommended to use because they wouldn’t have copywrite issues.
All of these sites are easy to use. You search for what you want and click on the picture. They will give you options on sizing and then you can download them. Sometimes you’ll have to do a task in selecting images (to prove you’re not a robot) but otherwise it’s pretty simple.
If you’re gone through these sites and you still can’t find what you’re looking for – you can use Google Images. Click on “Tools” then “Usage rights” and “Creative commons licenses.”
The best option, however, is to use pictures you’ve taken yourself. Show off your talents and your family!
I’ll show you what I mean in the video below:
Where do you get your images from?
Update on this post: have you tried AI images yet? There are many sites for this but I have been trying Google Gemini. Gemini doesn’t do humans but it does do nice images. Let me know what you think.
[…] The three go to stock image sites I use for free photos without copyright issues? Unsplash, Pexels and Pixabay. I’ve written about this topic before here. […]
