There’s a new animated film coming out with a rather interesting story: three mummies are set loose in modern day London to find a very important ring.

This film is about an underworld of mummies (the world of the dead) which is somewhere deep within the earth. Princess Nefer is matched with Thut, a former charioteer. However, they aren’t interested in each other, so Thut hides the ring.

When an archeologist discovers the ring, the couple, along with Thut’s brother Sekham and his pet crocodile, must journey to the land of the living to get it back.

The film opens in SA on 27 January.
