I love baking. It is my happy place, I have said this often. I will happily try out a new loaf/cake recipe every day over cooking dinner.
So when Ocean Spray contacted me and asked me to use the products they sent me to create a recipe I was super excited, seriously I think I do have the best job.
Obviously my first point of call was Pinterest to find all the cranberry recipes I could. Eventually I settled on a Cream Cheese Cranberry Loaf and a Slow Cooker Chicken Marinade. Both came out really well but the loaf was better – I didn’t use the slow cooker for the chicken dish so I think next time I will do that and I am sure it will be nicer.

Sponge Cake so I would use the cranberries to flavour it up a bit
Its a hand me down recipe for the most delicious, mouth watering banana bread. I have to cut it while its still hot, as we just can’t wait for it to cool down.

I love baking (and cooking) and find it so relaxing (when I’m not under pressure that is)! My favourite thing to bake….. hmmm probably cheese muffins. I just love a cheese muffin and I’m on a mission to perfect them. My last batch were the best so far, I added feta to the cheddar and they came out so yummy. So I’ll have to keep on baking and er… testing ahem cough-cough to eventually make the perfect muffin…. if ever!! I love to bake cookies! They are easy and the variety is incredible. I love to experiment with recipes and throw in different ingredients and see what I can come up with. Sometimes it’s not so delicious, other times I hit the jackpot!
I love to bake simple butter buiscuits, and then let my daughter decorate them with smarties, jelly tots, edible glitter and loads of sprinkles.
My favourite thing to bake is most definitely muffins. My 3 year old daughter loves them as well. Vanilla-Cranberry muffins would be amazing!
