I have 2 or 3 I cannot live without. Bleach in a spray bottle for pesky marks and mold spots. spray on leave for a couple of minutes and wipe down, I hang clothing that needs to be ironed on hanger to safe on ironing time and last but not least… Have my kids help in every room…

Since everyone’s talking about vinegar, I use 1/4 cup of vinegar as fabric softener in the washing machine. And no, your clothes do not smell of anything, they only smell clean. I’ve been doing this for years and years now and it saves money and is environment-friendly too 🙂
Other than that, my tip is this : don’t put it down, put it away. It takes a few extra seconds but makes your house feel put together all the time.
My house is a complete tip after the move so I would love someone to come and restore order over here.

My ultimate cleaning hack: More of a mind trick, but less is more. I use one organic cleanser from Greenmans and it works on everything. Also, Milton tablets to clean babys toys, use the same water to wash down furniture, counter tops and then throw into sink outlets for a overall clean smell.

I keep a bottle of handy andy and a cloth in each bathroom – then its easy to clean as I go. Especially since I live in a 2storey house and the cleaning materials are stored down stairs!

My cleaning hack:
After cooking, I spray the stove with anti bacterial cleaning agent, wipe it down and then use baby oil to wipe the stove plates and top, it keeps the stove shiny and new.
I also wipe the taps with a mixture of white vinegar and water to keep the taps sparkling and shining.
I add a drop of vinegar to the dirt bin to absorb any bad odours.
I could really do with Sweep South to help me with my cleaning, I’m 7 months pregnant and just walking to the kitchen seems like a chore for me.

My hack is to hang laundry that needs to be ironed on hangers and then hang that up. It makes ironing easier.

My go to cleaning tip, pour some bleach (Jik) in a spray bottle and spray on all mould spots. Leave to soak for +- 15 minutes and voila, mould gone! It doesn’t even have to be wiped off. Just remember to open windows and have loads of ventilation.

I love Sweep South and have used them numerous times. I even wrote an entire blog post about the experience.
My go to cleaning tip, to get rid of the scum build up around taps and and drains is this:
make a paste of Bicarbonate of Soda and water and use an old toothbrush to spread it evenly, wait 5 minutes and pour vinegar (any kind) over this and then use the toothbrush to brush the build up away. Vinegar and Bicarb are my go to miracle house cleaner.

I use vinegar to wash my floors and wipe my shiny surfaces.
