Over 40 million visitors in over 100 cities around the world have been awed and inspired by BODY WORLDS. Now, owing to popular demand, the BODY WORLDS Vital Johannesburg exhibition has been extended to 31 July 2016. Tyrone Thöle, Managing Director of Great World Exhibitions says that he is incredibly proud to be able to continue offering the opportunity to experience this powerful and remarkable exhibition that helps us to understand the wonder, sophistication and fragility of our own bodies.
The 17 never before seen in South Africa full-body plastinates and over 160 organs and transparent body slices show how the body works when it is healthy and explores how best to fight life-threatening diseases. Healthy and diseased organs are shown alongside each other allowing visitors to see how lifestyle choices may affect the body, such as how smoking affects the lungs. The intriguing Anatomical Mirror illustrates the visitor’s body movements up to the underlying anatomy by virtually peeling back the layers of the user’s body. The Anatomical Mirror teaches and inspires anyone: young, old, beginner, or experienced healthcare professional.
The exhibition is a must-see for anybody working in the health sector, for medical students and professionals alike, but also perfect for a family outing such as Father’s Day. For guests who prefer to visit after hours, BODY WORLDS offers its final After Dark exclusive adults only evening event on 30 June, when the opening hours are extended beyond the usual closing time of 6pm.
We have a FAMILY TICKET to this expo to giveaway. The ticket includes 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children!

I am working while the kids will be visiting friends and going to aftercare. Movies and outings on weekends will have to make up for the fact that me and hubster will be working most of the time. I am dying to see this exhibition! X

School holidays are always tough because work doesn’t close when schools do. (This is one of the things that have taken the most getting used to about going back to working for a boss…)
I’m hoping we will have moved into our new house before the holidays are over but it’s likely we’ll move during the holidays. I plan on making use of every single playdate invitation we get, so that we can get the move & unpacking done with as little interruption from bored kids as possible!

We are working during the holidays. But would like to take Little Miss on a few outings over the weekends. This win would come in handy!
