Christmas is going to look a lot different this year. I think it’s probably the first time I’ll be streaming church instead of going to church. And after the year we have all had it won’t be any extravagant presents. So that’s why I’ve dedicated this post to some small somethings that will still be special but can make a difference to your kid. I’ve also included a few bigger items if you are looking for that special gift.
Play-Doh
Playdoh has always been a winner and a tub or two won’t break the bank and provide lots of fun. Last year Nicky really enjoyed this colour burst one:
There are two new types from Hasbro on the market:
Play-Doh Elastix can be pulled apart just like elastic and promises to be heaps of fun.
Play-Doh Slime is not just stretchy but also squishable so it really gives a lovely sensory experience.
If you want to go big for Play-Doh there’s also the Play-Doh Kitchen Creations Candy Delight Playset.
Or maybe you’d prefer the Drizzy Ice- Cream Set:
Nerf
Nerf Elite 2.0 Trio SD-3 can fire 3 darts in a row. It also has a tactical rail so that you can customise the blaster with different Nerf accessories.
While we are talking about Nerf there there is another bigger one on the market as well – Nerf Ultra. This one will really go the distance for accuracy and speed.
Transformers
You can easily change between vehicle and robot and let your kids defeat the enemies with the Transformers Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures Action Attackers.
Board games
Seeing as how the new normal means we are spending so much more time at home I had to add this one in. There are a lot of different versions of Monopoly out and this one is called Monopoly For Sore Losers which sounds interesting.
Do you have any gift suggestions? Happy festive season everyone!
