Whether you’re looking for inspiration for launching your own business or wanting to publicise an existing one, Mogul Moms is the place to be this October 10th. It’s a niche expo, dedicated to mom & women entrepreneurs, that will put your brand in exactly in the right place.
Reading about the show I am reminded very much of my father, a self-made hardware entrepreneur, now retired, who used trade shows successfully for his business. The Hobby X show was where he demonstrated his woodworking machinery and framing products. He always said it was good to meet up with existing clients and make new ones. He would continue to obtain more leads and business after the event. And I think that is what makes these kinds of things so powerful. When you join people together of a certain niche, profitable relationships are formed that are long lasting and beneficial.
So what will happen when you join like-minded business moms? I’m excited to find out. There is something for everyone in your family in this show:
Women entrepreneurs:
Showcase your product at the show to your target market. Not only will you promote your brand, get media exposure and network, but you will also be able to have face to face engagement with existing and prospective clients. It’s a great vehicle for launching and demonstrating your product.

Each show has a featured item and the Johannesburg show will have Alison Deary. creator of the M.O.M and W.O.M (wonderfully organised women) diary join us to share her experience of starting up a business as a mom entrepreneur. She takes what she’s learnt through her own experience and converts it into something that she can share with other women in order to make their lives more manageable. To create a time management and organisational tool that becomes indispensable to any woman. The M.O.M and W.O.W Diary incorporate many of these aspects – organisation, time management, budgeting, goal setting, shopping, meal planning, record keeping, gratitude, convenience – all in a format that is simple, effective and easy to use. More recently she launched the Entrepreneur Sorted – a journal that assists entrepreneurs with organisation and time management.
Shopping:
Discounts, specials and unique products.
Dads:
Rugby addicts will be pleased to know that there will be a hospitality area screening two Rugby World Cup 2015 games at the Joburg show.
Kids:
There will be a kid’s entertainment area. (Kids zone by DSTV Extravaganza organisers)
Kids will see and meet some of their favourite cartoon characters.
Food:
The Vuyo’s franchise and mobile vending units (“Ooh Vuyo, he’s such a beeg beeg dreamer!”, remember the advertisement by Hansa Pilsner), will be there on the day to cater to everyone’s tummies, together with some of the country’s coolest and most delicious food trucks!
