Are you looking for a South African mom blogger on YouTube? Recently one of my influencer friends, Poloko Ntamehlo (@polokontamehlo) posted this video, listing her favourite South African Mom YouTubers, big and small.
Here are her pics:
Big 5 YouTubers:
“When they talk about someone who does not do things according to what people say or what society is saying – that is the goal I am telling you, that is the mommy and she has her own script, she’s living her own life she is raising her three kids, two girls and a boy…you know they’re doing their thing and I hope you guys watch them because they are very good. She’s one of the people that keep inspiring me to keep going and not put pressure on myself because if you look at her videos they are mostly at home they’re mostly doing what their lives are all about, she’s not PR pressurizing herself.”
We have interviewed Olerato on her video skills in this post: {Video} Olerato: Take that leap and polish your skills along the way!
“I love her she’s got two beautiful baby boys and even though she doesn’t upload that much but I love her. The last time she uploaded was 3 months back. Most of her videos they are all about teaching us about motherhood and if you are a new mommy please go check her out she’s always sharing baby essential things.”
“The Millennial Mom, oh man, I love her so much! Last year I discovered her around winter if I’m not mistaken and she was at 7,000 subscribers at the time discovered her, and girl she’s been doing the things, she’s been growing like no one’s business and people love her even people that don’t have kids -people that that are are doing channels about their own lives with no kids – they love her….
Everything she does is all about her kids she she lives, literally lives for her kids, but one thing I know and I like about her: she doesn’t forget herself in the mid of all these things and I love her for that.”
“She is a mom YouTuber even though she’s too much on the, I don’t know how to say this, the influencing thingy a lot. She’s very good. She has two boys and she’s doing well I love her Vlogs. She doesn’t feature them that much on the Vlog but she is a YouTuber and she is an influencer. She is a digital content creator and she’s doing very good.”
“I love her, I love the business woman. You know she’s one of the people that you know if you are relaxed and you listen to her story – you watch her you’re like, you know what, I need to stand up and do things. and she’s also one of the people that are living for for their kids and all she does is to make sure that she leaves a legacy for her children. And she is killing it in the game.”
“You know there are people that you look you watch and you’re like, you know, not that you want to copy them but they give that thing to to keep going and to do this thing. Guys, taking videos is not easy, editing them is not easy and I really support and salute these moms for doing it.
Small, upcoming Mom YouTubers:
“She is a business woman she is a wife, she is a mother, she is a sister, the girl is doing the things, please go give her some love. You will love it, you will love her, you will love her two beautiful girls. Man, she’s killing it in the game of small YouTubers and guys if you’re too relaxed and you look at your channel and you’re like …please go watch her because I remember before I got pregnant last year I was feeling a bit … and then I stopped a bit to Vlog and I went to her Channel I was like hey… At some point we were on the same, you know, sort of – we were pushing together – and then I saw that the girl is still doing the things and I was like “Poloko, wake up and do this thing because you love it!” … that’s how her Channel motivates me.”
“Mama of the boys: she is amazing! She’s all about cooking for her family, oh man her boys enjoy their mom’s cooking. She cooks for family, she Vlogs, please guys go give her some love she’s a Kasi mom, sometimes you know spitori is not easy and there’s a video where she was telling us the lingo – when they say this they mean that – because apparently only Pretorians can understand it and she’s good.”
OG Media, also known as Obakhe. We connected because she is Xhosa.
Obakhe would comment on my videos, and I just fell in love with her from there.
She is fun, and has a sense of humour, but takes her YouTube channel very seriously. She is so organised.
She is a wife and mother to her beautiful children. One thing about her, she cooks delicious meals for her family.
For meal ideas, family content, and travel vlogs, check out her YouTube channel, OG Media
“The reason why I have her here is because I love her. She is fairly new and she is pushing hard. Please go give her some love. Oh man, I just love her and the girl is giving on with the quality of her videos. I promise you, you will not even regret it. Please go check her out. Her name is Lomile Dthakong. She is a mom of 2 but her channel is more about her and her husband. She doesn’t feature her kids much and she has her own reasons why. She likes cooking on her channel as well. Don’t forget to check her out and help her get to 500 subscribers.”
“Someone that talks about her kids and the kids that are always there. We all know her. She -I don’t know if she’s an accountant but she’s in the accounting sector. Accounting, yeah all that Finance all that her career path is in the finance sector. She is a mom of two gorgeous cute little boys. I love her Channel. You know what, since I saw her kids, man those babies are cute and I’m like, I love her Channel; please go check her out.”
“I always watch and she’s growing as well. I think she’s learning Xhosa. She has two girls, also she’s got beautiful babies. I always watch her Channel I’m a subscriber there and her – what do you call this – her side hustle – is all about coaching people on how to get jobs and Linkedin and all that. She’s basically coaching people and she’s doing amazing. She’s doing amazing in the in the YouTube space. I think she’s doing fairly well I mean if you can get 1 000 – 2 000 views on your YouTube videos she’s going there. She one of the people that keep you motivated, to keep you going.”
