There is SO much information out there. All you have to do is google something and you will come up a gazillion results. This can be so overwhelming especially when you aren’t really sure what you are looking for.
There are so many resources that can make blogging easier and better. These are a few of the ones that we use daily to make our lives a little easier.
Photo Editing
Canva – I love Canva! LOVE IT! It makes life so much easier. You can chose templates that have been sized for Facebook, Pinterest, Blog Headings and more. You can add filters and text.
PicMonkey – I use PicMonkey mainly for collages but it is also a really great editing tool, and a little simplier in some ways than Canva.
Free Stock Images
Creative Market – This site has some really stunning images on, most of them you have to buy but there are weekly free downloads that are great. They aren’t your usual images and suitable as wall papers and backgrounds.
Creative Convex – There are some great free downloadable images over here.
Three more:
I got this from my job English First. This is because before you even login they often make you click on a disclaimer that you aren’t using images that belong to someone else. These are the three that they recommend but there are more out there of course. And you can also pay for stock photos as well. I’ve done that before when all the free stuff just doesn’t cut it.
Free and guilt free:

Newsletters
Mail Chimp – I use this for newsletters outside of my blog that I write. It is very easy to use, it has templates and you can very easily import an email list.
Mail Poet – This one is pretty easy to add into a WordPress as a plugin. You write you newsletters through your actual blog which is nice because everything is in one place.
Blog Design and Tips
Design your own blog – This is a rich resource with tutorials and videos on how to make improvements to your blog. Very often it is making small changes that can have the biggest impact.
ProBlogger – I have spoken about ProBlogger before! If you are serious about blogging then you need to bookmark this site and listen to the podcasts!
Increase your blog traffic:
