One of the things I always tell people who ask me what they need for their baby is wet wipes. You can never have enough wet wipes!
They are not only for wiping babies bum but can be used for pretty much anything and everything – wiping sticky hands and faces, wiping up spills, cleaning ice cream off a shirt, cleaning spoons,
I always have a pack of wet wipes with us because you never know when you will need to wipe up something!
Cherubs are one of our favourite brands and the one we have used the most consistently over the years.
The Cherubs Wipes Triple Pack now has a new convenient carry strap that has an elegant and user friendly design. The original plastic bag has been removed to reduce strain on the environment.
The lovely people at Cherubs have given us a R200 rand Cherubs hamper to giveaway to on lucky reader!
To qualify to win, leave a comment telling me the strangest thing you have used your wet wipes for?
Competition closes 10 February 2016 and is open to SA residents only.
Image does not represent what could be in the hamper, it is merely a collection of Cherubs products.

I have wet wipes everywhere…I think I should buy shares in the wet wipes industry. You will find them in my hand bag, in my desk drawer and in the boot, in the cubby front holder (sometimes needing to be replaced every month due to drying out in the Durban) heat, in my gym bag, in travel bags, in baby’s bag, in our picnic basket, in the beach tog bag. I stock up on the bulk buy packages whenever it goes on special. I use wet wipes to clean the car steering, the radio and dashboard and door handles and buttons from sticky fingers, to cleaning the microwave mirror finish due to all the splashes to cleaning light switch panels from sticky fingers, to door handle s and knobs, to my phones (cell phone, home phone, cordless phone, office desk phone) from the make-up smudges, to cleaning the tv and hi fi and dstv remotes, to cleaning my laptop screen and mouse and keyboard to cleaning the car keys, to cleaning the bathroom mirrors, to cleaning my diary which is like my bible and goes everywhere with me and although only in month 2 of 12, already has smudges. Instead of use the general hygiene wipes at most markets for the trolley, I pull out my own wet wipe. I use my wet wipes at gym to also clean the equipment after some wet and sweaty people use before me. Instead of rinsing at a public shower on the beach, we use wet wipes to clean our feet and hands. I must admit, Cherubs is my favourite. The whole family is has this special scent because of all the wipes we use throughout the day which has just become our family signature scent of love. The smell is incredible and fresh and I just adore it! Not only is it so useful for all of the above, but also for baby’s bum and cleaning smudged sticky faces and fingers and also as a special feminine wipe. What can I say, I don’t leave the house without a pack of my favourite.

The Cherubs brand is great. I use wetwipes to clean dirty takkies all the time- they work really well for that! They work well for dirty handbags too (I add a dab of hand sanitiser first and then use it to clean and disinfect since apparently handbags are germ factories).
I think the strangest of all was when I had a toddler covered from head to toe in thick, greasy bum cream, which I think is a right of passage for most toddlers, -only there was a water cut at the time- so wetwipes to the rescue.

The strangest thing I’ve used wipes for? To wipe poo (Baby J’s – he was teething – you know how it goes) off my running shirt before heading out for a run. I was crunched for time, so it was either no run or a poopy-shirt run… And the latter won!

We use them to wipe the rims of the car tyres. With the wet wipes being thin it helps reach to clean any grime left in the nooks of the rims. Very helpful especially when you want to show off some good wheels when driving around Durban.
